විවර කරනු මැන සමිඳුණේ 

වාන් දොරටු මගේ ජීවිතේ 

මම සූදානම් අස්වද්දන්නට 

සාර කෙතක් සමිඳුණේ 

ගලමින් තිබු මගෙ ජීවිතේ 
අයාලේ යන ගඟක් සේ 
වාන් දමා ඔබ පොහොනි කලේ 
ජීවන ජලයෙන් පිරවූයේ 

අස්වනු හිඳිලා හිත් ඉරි තැළිලා 
සාර කෙතේ දැන් ව්ල් බෝවීලා 
වාන් දොරටු මගෙ විවර කරනු මැන 
මම සූදානම් කෙත අස්වදනට

How much I feel love!

To touch and to be touched,

Tender caresses and gentle embraces

Both to render and to recieve ;

Inside this robe

Full of flesh and full of blood ;

Can I scream aloud what my flesh so desires 
When my blood rushes through deep inside me?

And How I listen indefferently when she feels for me!

Inside this robe

Is a man fully alive and fully divine,

Sensitive to human and attuned to Divine;

Yet, the divine touch is more gentler than the humans',

Yes, it pierces my skin and touches the finest of my being.
